Are you a graduate student, passionate about talent and leadership development and looking for experience in an international environment?


Your job

As an intern in Global Talent & Leadership Development, you will be working together with the Leadership Development Advisor.

Amongst other duties, you will be responsible for the coordination of our Leadership 360 Feedback tool and the Insights Discovery personality profiling tool. You will also support the deployment of our global Leadership Development programmes for global top talents. You will be working on programme operations, helping to identify improvement opportunities in addition to providing support to participants and our Operating Companies (OpCos) that deploy these tools and programmes,.


Your key responsibilities

·         Coordination and operation of the global Leadership 360 Feedback tool and Insights Discovery tool. This includes coordinating the full process, e.g. starting 360s, tracking progress, generating reports/requesting profiles, advising and supporting OpCos, finding solutions to improve processes, and developing support materials.

·         Assist with global Leadership Development programme operations incl. programme evaluation and billing.

·         Support Regions and OpCos with programme deployment

·         Depending on your areas of interest and current opportunities, you will work on projects independently - previous examples:

o    Provide logistical support for international graduate programme (IGP) and Inclusion and Diversity workshops.

o    Co-design and deliver an interactive digital Leadership Development Guide.

o    Continuous improvement of 360 tool processes (finding solutions to issues, developing and updating support materials (forms, instructions, manuals).

o    Redesign of Leadership Expectations website.


Your working environment

As L&D intern you report to the Leadership Development Advisor, making you part of our Leadership & Organisation Development team Our team falls under the larger Global HR Talent & Leadership Development team. Our team supports the development of great, business driven leaders by offering, amongst others, an enhanced Leadership Development curriculum for our Top Talents.

Your position is based in Amsterdam.


Your profile

You are enrolled in a Master’s degree programme, preferably with a HR focus such as Human Resource Management, Organisational Development or Organisational Psychology. You should recognize yourself in the following:

·         Pro-active, pragmatic with a hands-on mentality

·         Team worker with the ability to work independently

·         Analytical thinker with the ability to work in a structured way on projects, project management experience is beneficial

·         Strong time management skills to meet Global, OpCo and Functional deadlines

·         Excellent communication skills, ability to connect with diverse people and cultures

·         Fluent in English with an international interest

·         Experienced user of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

6 month internship at HBO/WO/Master level, starting no later than 20 February 2019
