Your job

The individual that will best suit the role will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and proactively on deliverables.

 

The key areas of support are to:

  • Provide operational and administrative support in activities such as the preparation of agenda items, keeping minutes, communication, presentations and consolidating data either for the department or for a programme/project;
  • Actively think and support to improve the Ways of Working within the team;
  • Support with a branding campaign (department branding);
  • Support the regular maintenance of materials on SharePoint and/or PowerBI; 
  • Support on the different compliance processes;
  • Identify improvement opportunities within OpCos globally potentially via our Lean Six Sigma program (yellow belt certification);
  • Support one of the subteams: Risk Management, Control Monitoring, Process & Control Management, Business Process Management and Functional Management.

 

Beside the core activities you will be involved in a variety of other activities where you can proactively support and learn from.

 

Learning Opportunities:

  • Working in a Corporate Environment;
  • Working in an diverse environment with international exposure;
  • Project experience (e.g. methodology, reporting, engagement);
  • Improve documentation and presentation skills.

 

Your working environment

The Global P&CI team is operating in different expertise teams. It is a high-paced team with international, young, experienced and fun people. The environment is high paced, dynamic and activities will be varied. We are looking for interns to work on a number of different topics however we also give you the chance to work on topics outside of your sub team.

The team consists of 45 professionals located in Amsterdam, Poland, Nigeria, Singapore and Mexico.

 

Your profile

For this role, we are looking for someone who takes initiative and can easily adapt to a fast pace and changing environment. Someone studying business/finance is preferred and fluent in English both written and spoken is required.

 

Also the ideal candidate is:

  • Dynamic and eager to work on a variety of topics
  • Pro-active and entrepreneurial mind set
  • Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office
  • Able to draft high quality communications (e-mails, MS Word and MS PowerPoint)
  • Collaborative and team player
  • High concern for quality, accuracy and data
  • Socially involved with the team
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken

 

Requirements

  • The intern must be enrolled at a university or college for the entire duration of the internship.
  • In case of a non-European nationality, it is mandatory that the intern is enrolled at a Dutch university or college and therefore has a legitimate work permit with student status, which will not expire during the duration of the internship.
