To support the execution of the Finance vision «Be First Class Business Partners and Guardians of HEINEKEN’s assets and reputation », the Finance Leadership Team (FLT) started in 2018 to reflect on the need to update the Finance priorities to ensure it captured new trends and best supports the HEINEKEN Ambition 2020. Taking stock of the trends and progress made in the last years, the FLT has recently decided to update the Finance priorities with four new Challenges and 12 Must Win Battle (MWB). This new set of Challenges and MWBs have become the Finance Transformation agenda: one set of priorities for the all Finance function.


In the role of Finance Capabilities Manager you will be part of the newly created Finance Transformation team, driving the delivery of the new Challenges and MWBs. You will be working with the FLT and the wider Finance community (i.e. OpCos, Regional and Head Office teams), developing, improving, deploying and coordinating competency development and driving functional development together with the relevant stakeholders. As part of this role, you will also define the strategy and priority setting for competency development and ensure the embedding of functional competencies in the global Finance community.



Your responsibilities

As the Finance Capabilities Manager you are responsible for:

  • Assessing the capabilities required for the future Finance organisation and what is required to enable this transformation; aligning this with the wider Digital People Plan initiatives and the Finance 2025 competencies
  • Segmenting competency development into populations based on needs and priorities and developing a curriculum to build capabilities
  • Designing programmes and content including identifying the best mediums e.g. face to face, e-learning, webcasts
  • Delivering training programmes and facilitating learning events for the finance population
  • Define and maintain the functional competency development for all common roles within the global Finance community, with regards to the level of maturity of competencies and monitor progress
  • Where relevant, identify and curate external courses and establish links with external providers
  • Lead the analysis with the relevant KPIs of training and development needs across the finance population and develop standard learning plans for roles within finance
  • Involvement in organisational design activities



Your profile
