Title:  Construction Safety Lead

Job description

  • Function/ Region: Global Supply Chain
  • (Sub)department: Global Projects & Engineering
  • Job purpose: This position is leading safe designs, constructions, start-up of CAPEX projects in new, revamped and extended breweries as well as the management of Safety risk on construction sites.
    Translating HEINEKEN’s and customer needs into conceptual choices following into construction safety solutions is key.
  • Reports to: Head of Civil Engineering & Integration

Roles & responsibilities

  1. Be a driving force behind functional safety CoEs
  2. Embed construction safety compliance in capital expenditure projects around the globe executed by GP&E
  3. Lead Safety pre-qualification of civil contractors
  4. Support set-up of safety on construction sites by GP&E (SHE)
  5. Share industry best practices and learnings and contribute to continuous improvement of civil and construction safety standards as part of EEM
  6. Support OpCo’s with investigation of high potential accidents and fatalities
  7. Initiate function-specific risk reduction programs, in line with Global Safety Strategy

 

Experience & profile (what & how)

What:

  • Education: University level, Master in Engineering/Science
  • Work experience: 8+ years
  • Demonstrated process engineering and operational experience, Project Management knowledge and experience in a large multinational (preferably FMCG) or consultancy firm with cultural and market awareness. Experience in reporting and equipment reliability (operational, construction and maintenance)
  • Expert in Capital project excellence and Supplier relation management. Expert in Building first time right. Skilled in Being a reliable business partner
  • Fluent in English
