Position Title: Quality Analyst
Location: Kilinto

Job Purpose:
To ensure that sampling and product analysis (Chemical/physical, Microbiological, and Sensory) are performed, ensure simple off-line and in-line calibrations/verifications (Analytical) are performed, ensure troubleshooting process analysis in production, ensure clean and tidy working area without unnecessary losses of consumables/chemicals, in line with the defined and implemented safety standards and following 5S and HACCP standards at the workplace and make all the quality checks in line with the Laboratory Star System (LSS) procedures and procedures on sampling and analyses.
Key Responsibilities
1. SAFETY, FOOD SAFETY & SUSTAINABILITY
- Contributes and ensures a clean and tidy working area without unnecessary losses of consumables/chemicals, in line with the defined and implemented safety standards and following 5S and HACCP, VACCP, and TACCP standards at the workplace.
- Identify the safety risks in their department, and apply LSC principles, including do's and don'ts.
- Act where unsafe situations or behaviors occur, give feedback, and report to the relevant people. Act in compliance with HEINEKEN and local safety rules, standards, and procedures.
2. QUALITY OF ANALYSIS
- Makes all the quality checks as per the sample plan, both chemical-physical analyses on offline samples as verification of in-line meters, in line with the Laboratory Star System (LSS) procedures and procedures on sampling and analyses (offline and in-line).
3. TPM AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT (LSS)
- Actively participates in improvement teams related to the laboratory and supports the implementation of these improvement opportunities or corrective actions in the laboratory (ISO9001, LSS, etc.).
- Use the digital tools available to report the information required for the DCS displayed in digital applications (SOP, OPL, CILT activities, and 5S).
- Take part in TPM improvement activities related to safety, quality, the environment, and performance losses in their area (Kaizen, UPS, RCFA, etc.)
- Support implementing APM step 0-5 based on the machine assessment
- Takes an active role in 5S teams and promotes visual management of the equipment
- Lead the DCS 0 &1 Meeting
4. EXECUTION OF ANALYSIS
- Executes analyses in the laboratory, to calibrate in-line meters.
- Executes Microbiological analyses, including sampling, sample preparation, and reporting results, in line with valid Laboratory Methods. Executes also complex analysis, which is not covered by in-line meters.
- Executes simple activities for the Sensory Panel.
5. EQUIPMENT & MATERIAL MANAGEMENT
- Performs maintenance, calibration, verification, and troubleshooting of off-line and in-line analysis equipment (in laboratory and production environment)
- Keeps track of the availability of laboratory materials
Job Requirements
Experience and Skills
- 2 – 4 years relevant work experience.
- Previous laboratory working experience is preferred
- 1 Star QC module passed on theory and practice
- ONE2Learn quality + Brewing Modules Certificate
- Independent user in Windows/Office/Qualass V-5, Qualass SAV
- Awareness of Food Safety is an advantage
Education
- BSC in Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering or similar fields of study.
