Position Vacant:               Capability Manager

Function:                            Trade Marketing – Sales                        

Location:                            Port Moresby

We have an immediate requirement for a Capability Manager, reporting to the Trade Marketing Manager in Port Moresby.

Main duties include:

• Driving and sustaining strategic initiatives by developing sales force capability by leading the implementation of specified sales tools and executing programs.
• Lead the Sales Capability agenda for PNG through continuous gap assessment, implementation of the right intervention programs, processes and tools for SPBs Commercial Team and SPB sales force.
• Convert marketing and commercial opportunities into tangible training courses to ensure competitive advantage, delivery of business commercial strategy (excellent outlet execution, perfect picture of success, building winning portfolio and channel plans etc) in accordance to Heineken’s framework
• Support the business be leveraging on sales data and the Subject Matter Expert to use the data and improve core processes and ways of working.
• Assess market best practices, advice and drive continuous improvement within the Sales organization.
• Partner with Trade Marketing function to ensure the design and execution of channel activities will contribute to the Company’s goals and objectives and improve market share, customer satisfaction and productivity performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related field is essential/Diploma in Marketing/Sales.
• Possess a valid and current driver’s license
• 3 years of experience in sales and or marketing operations preferably in the FMCG environment
• Knowledgeable in operation planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance evaluation
• Able to communicate all levels and articulate in presentations
