Forklift Operator

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator with a background in the FMCG industry and a solid understanding of warehousing practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts, ensuring adherence to our Brewery's Food Safety Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
• Conduct routine inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Adhere to the Brewery's Quality & Food Safety Management System and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and organizing products.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in an FMCG or similar work environment.
• Fair warehousing experience, with a strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Valid forklift operator certification. valid class 7 forklift driver’s
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Good written & oral communication skills
• Basic computer skill.
• Flexibility to work on shifts rotation and during weekends as required.
• Police Clearance
