Production Technician II-Brewing (Ho Chi Minh Brewery)

JOB PURPOSE: Apply safety agenda in the daily job, operate and execute qualitative way the required processes, while improving the key performance indicators and production losses. Strive for shop floor excellence and improvements.

  • Works according to the defined and applied HEINEKEN Safety, Food safety and Sustainability standards, and local regulation(s) for the Brewing & Utilities department.
  • Applies and follows Safety agenda in Brewing & Utilities department. Identify safety points that need improvement.
  • Is a member in safety teams.

2. Qualify of Process and Product:

  • Executes defined quality checks in line with the standards and procedures on all machines and processes.
  • Ensures the Brewing processes are executed according to the agreed standard and procedures. Executes production plan in standard conditions and non-standard conditions.
  • Analyses deviations, takes appropriate countermeasures and escalate to Brewing Team Leader in line with respective procedure.

3. TPM and continuous improvement:

  • Executes 5S, Tagging/ de-tagging process/ system(s), CILT, applies problem solving tools, etc. in the shop floor.
  • Participates in improvement teams.

4. Process Management:

  • Operates and executes one (or two) brewing operational process(es) on machine in line with the valid standards and procedures (in standard conditions and non-standard conditions.
  • In case of deviations, takes appropriate countermeasures and escalate to Brewing Team Leader.

5. Equipment Management:

  • Operates all brewing machines / process(es) within Brewing.
  • Executes basic maintenance of all machines. Is actively involved in improving equipment performance.
  • Liaising with other sections for beer hand-over, maintenance or repair purposes.

6. Reporting: Reports in a timely and accurate way all mandatory and relevant information and KPIs (ex: performance report, DDS, log book...).



  • College/ University graduate in Food Technology/  Chemistry/ Automation/ Mechanical/ Electronics
  • Teamwork spirit, honest
  • Being able to speak and understand the technical terms of English
  • Good in computer skill (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel)
  • Preferable at least 3 years working experience in FMCG industry
  • Knowledge of brewing process

  • Knowledge of the technical parameters or norms used in Brewing

  • Basic technical knowledge (Mechanic ,Electric)

  • Basic laboratory analysis

  • TPM knowledge
