Title:  Project Engineer

Role: Project Engineer - Tadcaster
Function: Brewing Operations, Supply Chain Support
Location: Our fabulous Tadcaster Brewery!
Grade: 10

Hiring Manager: Ross Stewart

Ready to make your next courageous move in your HEINEKEN career, well read on as we have a fantastic opportunity as a Project Engineer!

The Role

Are you looking for a role where you can see the direct impact of your work? Well, we have a fantastic opportunity to deliver significant change across our Tadcaster Brewery.

Supporting the Principal Project Manager, this is a great opportunity to be involved in leading innovative projects which are key to moving the site into its future state.  You will be involved in the development of new processes that will have a clear impact on improving the infrastructure of the brewery.

This is a hands on, practical role, where you will be involved in the day to day management of the capital engineering projects. This means ensuring colleagues and contractors all achieve scoped targets and comply with HEINEKEN and regulatory standards and legislation, with their focus on Health & Safety is always at the forefront of their minds.

The Person

We’re looking for someone with a background in engineering and some real hands-on experience in cross-functional projects. With your relevant qualifications, you’ll have the ability to develop practical solutions to optimise or link in with beer production and packaging processes.

Experience in managing cash flow forecasts and delivering against budget is fundamental, whereas experience with Microsoft Projects would be a plus.

Ambition and strong communications skills are needed as you will be collaborating with a number of key stakeholders and representatives. You will be leading a project team of varied individuals, so the ability to influence and flex communication styles will really help.

We embrace learning and growth and we anticipate there is scope to develop in this role. You are also likely to bring experiences that enhance this role that are not listed above, therefore not every box needs to be ticked when it comes to experience or skill sets.

The Application

If you like what you’ve read and want to explore this opportunity further then please speak with your people manager first as applications for roles should not come as a surprise and should be linked to your development plan.

Then please contact Ross to discuss this opportunity and apply online, attaching a copy of your latest signed off Performance Review Document, prior to 1st of July 2022.  Please note we may close adverts sooner than this where we receive significant numbers of applications – so don’t delay.

If you need any adjustments made to support your application, such as providing you with information in different formats, or any accessibility issues for example, then we are very happy to review our processes and please let us know by contacting us at recruitment@heineken.co.uk.

This role is offered on Standard HEINEKEN Terms and Conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes our standard notice periods and discretionary sick pay terms (added to our Absence Policy on 1 November 2014).
