Title:  Principal Project Manager

Principal Project Manager
Function: Brewing Operations
Location: Manchester

Salary: £56k - £66kplus 15% Flexible Benefits, an award-winning pension and BUPA healthcare!!

We stand by our values: passion for quality, enjoyment of life, respect for people and for the planet.

We’re building a future that embraces innovation, sustainability, diversity and, of course, the opportunity for our 2,400 colleagues to make the most of their careers. We’re a business which will bring out the best in you.

If you’re as excited about our future as we are, then we’d love to hear how you can help us shape it. Right now, we’re looking for a driven Principle Project Manager to take on an opportunity and join our Supply Chain Support Capital Projects Team here at our Manchester Brewery.

There’s never been a more exciting time to make your mark at Manchester Brewery. With a brewing heritage second to none, we’re masters of our craft when it comes to embracing an extensive range of HEINEKEN brands from the iconic John Smith’s to global stars Sol and Desperados. The countdown is also on to the brewing of Birra Moretti, and with a fresh phase of investment in our production facilities in full swing, our beer journey is about to become even more eventful. If it’s a journey you’d like to be part of we’d love to hear from you.

The Role
Supporting the UK Capital Projects Manager, you will be fully accountable for managing a portfolio of projects, engaging stakeholders and leading project development, planning and execution. This will mean using your relevant project management experience and qualifications, to ensure all projects are managed safely and in compliance with all HUK and UK legislation whilst staying within an agreed budget and time frame.

Collaborating with many internal colleagues across our UK operations and our external stakeholders, you will identify, challenge and establish their needs while bringing effectiveness, efficiency and passion for developing others to this role.

What we are looking for?
Managing Project Engineers, consultants and suppliers will be a key part of your role so experience managing a team through change would be a big benefit. We’re looking for someone with a degree level Engineering or equivalent relevant experience/HND. Just as important is your drive and ability to focus on the “How” within projects. This role would suit a big picture thinker, does that sound like you?

Please note our projects relate to our manufacturing lines and assets - so we need an engineering background. These are NOT IT nor general change management projects.

Next Steps
If this sounds like a journey you’d like to join, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today with your CV and please attach a covering letter outlining what you’d like to bring to the role
