Senior Shift Manager – Packaging

Our brewery remains a pivotal part of our UK supply chain network, producing around 5 million hectolitres per year of Foster’s, Kronenbourg 1664 – and, more recently – Heineken. We’re delighted to have been given the quality seal of approval from Amsterdam to make Heineken on our site – and as a bonus, we’re making our carbon footprint smaller in the process.

What's the role?
We are looking for an experienced leader to take on the role of Senior Shift Manager or Area Manager in our Packaging area, reporting directly to the Packaging Manager you’ll play a key role for our Packaging shifts; supporting them on their drive to win journey, as they evolve and constantly improve. This is an exciting and varied role which requires a supportive leadership approach; you’ll have sound judgement, strong communication, coaching and facilitating skills, as you will be leading kegging and canning teams to produce our great products in-line with customer demand, reaching optimum operational efficiency, whilst developing team members to reach their own optimal performance.

What we’re looking for?
An experienced people manager with a track record in FMCG environment, your experience of delivering change management programmes within a continuous improvement environment will be invaluable, as will your proven ability to lead and develop a culture of excellent behavioural safety. You will be reinforcing our strategy to have our team members work effectively and autonomously and will be given your own development opportunities to step in and support the Head of Department when required as you will play an important part in the Packaging Leadership Team. We expect supportive leadership over control, and you will use your coaching and mentoring experience to create innovative ways to support your team to thrive and work more productively and effectively.
