As the UK’s leading pub, cider and beer business, we’re home to some of the world’s best-loved ciders and beers, and a leading player in the international drinks industry. But there’s so much more to HEINEKEN than meets the eye.

Right now, we’re looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Finance team!

About the role

Reporting into the Financial Reporting Manager, this role business partners the Finance and Procurement team providing first class performance management, financial control and process improvement in all finance aspects of the Purchase to Pay cycle.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring robust governance and control of Balance Sheet accounts, Accounts Payable ledger and Goods Received / Invoice Received. You’ll set up best practice and offer support to internal colleagues, unpicking any issues that may arise and ensuring a streamlines approach between procurement and our suppliers.

In this role you’ll be seen as the main point of contact within HEINEKEN UK for PtP Finance enquiries, working closely with our Global Shared Services in Poland to align on key objectives and supporting process improvements to reach these them.

You’ll work closely with our Third Party Drinks buyers and CS&L to identify and improve PtP processes.

There will be opportunities to get involved in project where a PtP Subject Matter Expert is required, so being able to flex your skills and use them in different scenarios to solve problems and improve processed will be key.

This role has direct line management responsibility for one Purchase to Pay Analyst, so you’ll be expected to support, coach and develop where required.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone that has experience in Accounts Payable or Procurement (if you have both then you may just be our unicorn candidate!), however a qualification in accountancy isn’t necessarily required for this role.

This role needs someone with extensive PtP experience, ideally attained in a high-volume environment with considerable SAP experience.

If you have;

  • Experience in PtP
  • Proven experience influencing decisions that have improved business results.
  • A solid commercial awareness
  • Strong presentation skills
  • A natural problem-solving ability.
  • An excellent ability to develop relationships cross functionally.

Then this could be the role for you!

We embrace learning and growth, and we anticipate there is scope to develop in this role. You’re also likely to bring experiences to this role that are not listed above – as long as you have a thirst for learning and development, not every box needs to be ticked when it comes to skillsets.

As this role is office/site based, please note we currently operate a hybrid working framework which allows us to capture the benefits of both working in the office and at home.  For full time roles, we work a minimum of 3 days in the office, a Tuesday and Thursday are for all, with the third day being defined by the colleague.

We’re building a future that embraces innovation, sustainability, diversity and, of course, the opportunity for our 2,400 UK colleagues to make the most of their careers.

We encourage all our colleagues to grow and reach their full potential. We’re also well-aware that successful careers seldom run in a straight line, so if you’re in search of fresh opportunities (including global or cross-functional moves), mentoring or simply want to pick up a new skill, you’ll have access to all the support you need.

Caring for people & the planet is one of our core values and we understand that each of our colleagues’ needs, and circumstances are different. This is why we have a smarter working policy in place which includes access to hybrid working, flexible start and finish times and condensed hours, to name a few.

Our colleagues love life at HEINEKEN, and we’re confident you’ll feel the same way – but don’t take our word for it. Search the #LifeAtHEINEKENUK hashtag on LinkedIn to hear from our colleagues about what makes HEINEKEN such a special business to be a part of.
