As Manager Data & Analytics Office you are responsible for Data Governance, Reference & Master Data, Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics. A team of around 10 data & analytics professionals. Deploying Data & Analytics as core capability for HEINEKEN Netherlands Commerce or HEINEKEN Netherlands Supply. You are responsible for executing the Data Strategy. Continue to build up the strong data foundation through pragmatic Data Governance enhancing Data Management and derive value out of data through Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics.

 

What are your responsibilities as Manager Data & Analytics Office?

Data & Analytics is seen as core capability within HEINEKEN. Your goal is to build and further mature this capability. The Data & Analytics Office acts as an enabler. We believe that every business becomes a Data business. You are not going to solve all data and analytics challenges, you going to help the business lines to solve their data & analytics challenges by supporting them with knowledge, policies, processes, tools etc. with a clear ‘add business value’ mindset.    

Your main responsibilities are:

 

  • Develop, maintain, adapt and execute the Data & Analytics Strategy. Aligned with the Global Data & Analytics Strategy and the Strategy of HEINEKEN Netherlands Supply or HEINEKEN Netherlands Commerce
  • Manage and develop your team of Data & Analytics Professionals
  • As Business Process Owner of the Data & Strategy, Data Management and Insights processes you will continues improve these processes
  • As Business Owner of the Data & Analytics Platform/Technology stack you are, together with the IT Solution Owner, responsible for the development of this platform and set the priorities
  • You act as a trusted advisor for the MT of HEINEKEN Netherlands and the MT’s of the Business Lines
  • Building up and mature the data & analytics capability throughout HEINEKEN Netherlands across all Business Lines
  • Promote, maintain and develop Data Ownership throughout the organization
  • Show the ‘art of the possible’ and explain, in business language, complex Data & Analytics concepts (e.g. Data Governance, Master Data, Machine Learning etc etc.)

 

As Manager Data & Analytics Office you will be based in Zoeterwoude (HEINEKEN Netherlands Supply) or Leiden (HEINEKEN Netherlands Commerce; as from April 2020) and you will be reporting to the Finance Director/Manager.

 

Your working environment

Within Heineken NL you will be part of the MT Finance. Finance acts across business lines and acts as the guardian of Heineken’s assets. And yes… we view Data as a critical business Asset. The Data & Analytics Office consists of 4 teams: Data Governance, Reference & Master Data, Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics. The purpose is to “Enable employees and their customers to make informed decisions based on easy accessible and trusted insights”.

 

Our message is that you have to be in control of your data if you want to accelerate with Advanced Analytics and digital innovation.

 

Are you the Manager Data & Analytics Office we are looking for?
To be successful we’re looking for individuals who has a strong t-shaped profile. Deep experience in one of the disciplines but also knowledge (able to apply) of the other disciplines:

 

  • A Master Degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Business Information or equivalent;
  • At least 8-10 years’ work experience in Data Governance, Reference & Master Data, Business Intelligence and/or Advanced Analytics;
  • At least 5 years’ work experience in leadership roles, managing high value specialists
  • Relevant knowledge of (industry) standards like the Data Management Body of Knowledge, CMMI, architectural frameworks, reference models is a must;
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Strong persuasion skills; key skill is that you can communicate with and enthuse stakeholders on different levels;
  • Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.
