Are you a (graduate) student, passionate about Revenue Management, and looking for an experience in an international environment?


Revenue Management is the application of disciplined analytics to predict consumer behaviour in order to sell the right product, with the right pack, to the right customer, at the right time, to the right price. As such, it is a multidisciplinary function that navigates among different corporate areas like Finance, Sales, Marketing, or IT, and whose main mission is to lead, via fact-based insights, the company’s pricing and promotional strategies – translating Big Data into actions.


This is a position that suits best a curious, articulate, relatable, and data-savvy individual. The core of the intern’s responsibilities will be within the Promo vertical, and although most of the activities will be related to the backend, it is anticipated the intern will learn a lot about what drives consumer behaviour for a FMCG company (price elasticities, promo mechanics, etc).


The internship is based in Leiden and available per February 1st for the duration of 5 months.


Please note that all interns must be enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the internship. You will need to provide a proof of enrolment with your application. Applications without this will not be considered.

Your responsibilities

In this internship you will be responsible for:

  • Enriching our promo planning tool with internal financial data, connecting price in the market with the bottom line;
  • Improving data collection to better our promo evaluation process.
  • Understanding the promo process and contributing on evaluating promo effectiveness


Your profile

You are a student in a relevant field of study and you have the following:

  • Ability to prioritize and to work in a structured way on projects and individually
  • Exceptional team player capability and eagerness to learn, share knowledge
  • Proficiency in English: written, spoken and interpersonal
  • A pragmatic approach with a can-do mentality
  • Affinity with data analytics and above-average Excel skills. Knowledge about econometrics or databases is a differentiator
