Commercial Capability & People Development Manager

As Commercial Capability & People Development Manager you shape and drive the learning agenda for HEINEKEN Netherlands. This plan will of course be led by our business priorities and in line with the Global Learning agenda and the various Global Functions. For us this means a specific focus on Commercial and Digital Capabilities. Development is of course a broad topic; this means that you will also drive initiatives on Talent Management and personal development offerings like ‘Grensverleggers’ or a new Mentoring approach.  Are you a commercial collaborator? This is what you like to do:

  • You share our ambitions for more Inclusion & Diversity and through that, as Product owner you lead the cross-functional initiative together with the HNL I&D ambassadors team and employees through their Unconscious Bias and Inclusive Practices learning journey.

 

  • A natural collaborator. You are part of the HR Team of HNL and work together closely with the HRBP’s and the Talent Acquisition Lead in the Netherlands. At the same time you are fully connected with the Leadership Team and business functions to have indept understanding of our strategy/ business challenges to be able to translate to capability.

 

  • To accelerate cultural journey and employee experience your lead the Climate and are able to take this to the next level together with Corporate Affairs while learnings from best practices from other functions.

 

  • Collaboration also implies effective ways of working with peers from HEINEKEN Netherlands Supply and HEINEKEN Group. And not limited to the Dutch boarder as you could participate in European initiatives on the Talent agenda to maximize knowledge and skills we have as a company internationally.

 

 

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Shape and drive Learning & development agenda for HEINEKEN Netherlands. Work closely with the business to align on key priorities in capability building, and are in close connection with Global Capability Leads of relevant functions and part of Development Community in Europe
  • Able to translate the analysis of our Talent pipeline and skills gap into resourcing plan– together with HRBP’s and the Talent Acquisition Team
  • Owner of Talent programmes and shape evolvement of Trainees programmes together with Campus Recruiter. In this role also Line manager of the Management Trainees.
  • Product owner of I&D and lead I&D agenda for HNL together with the Ambassador Team
  • Owner of Climate process and continuous improvement to improve the employee experience
  • Manage external parties (Contract management, purchasing & evaluation)
  • Drive continues improvement projects in alignment with other Dutch entities

 

Where will you end up?

Within HEINEKEN you will be part of the department HR where you will strengthen the team consisting of passionate professionals, incl Talent Acquisition Team for Dutch entities. Together with your team you translate HNL strategy to meaningful initiatives for our employees to grow the business. Your workplace is located in the center of Leiden, opposite the Central Station. This brand new office is easily accessible by public transport, for example from Utrecht, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and The Hague.

 


  • Are you the Commercial Capability & People Development Manager we are looking for: A Master education; WO work and think level;
  •  8-10 years of relevant work experience;
  • Commercial experience and tangible experience with learning & Development;
  • Understanding of Learning and People Development strategies, best practices and external network;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage end to end processes;
  • Influencing and communications skills;
  • Strong in stakeholder management;
  • Entrepreneurial, strategic conceptual thinker and excellent in balancing in fact and figures and the cultural- and soft dynamics;
  • Excellent customer focus, you prioritize based on business impact and you have an instinct for how you can add the most value.
