Order to Cash (OtC)  Specialist at Vrumona

Your role

As an Order to Cash (OtC) specialist you will be the business partner for multiple stakeholders, among others legal, tax, sales, customer care. You will be the single point of contact for the administration process of:  Billing & cash application process  and policies within Vrumona and Royal Unibrew. You are in the lead regarding updating standard operating procedures and supporting the organization in handling the more complex customer agreements. You will be asked to provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis in the area of rent, loans, discounts, rebates, billing and cash apps.

OtC Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely managing of the Order to Cash processes (P&D, Invoicing, Customer Payments, Credit Risk, Collection or Dispute management). It is cross-process and cross Vrumona role which requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Your responsibilities would include:

  • Managing customer relationship and ensure a high level of service is provided at all times
  • Activities related to collections & disputes
  • Handling incoming and outgoing calls with customers
  • Owns the Customer Ledger and is responsible for keeping it clear and meeting collection targets
  • Manages customers queries, solves and closes disputes and performs root cause analyses
  • Manage customer relationship and ensure a high level of service is provided at all times
  • Identifying held orders and takes appropriate actions to resolve them managing the credit limit exceeded process in accordance with credit policy
  • Demonstrating pro-activeness in improving customer satisfaction and reducing timelines for disputes resolution, facilitates the identification and resolution of any customer disputes
  • Managing approval process
  • Standardizing and optimize processes in Vrumona
  • Providing specific insights if required
  • Applying deep knowledge of E2E systems and pricing & discounts process and digital skills in order to identify root causes of potential issues
  • Identifying risk and preventing them in the proactive way
  • Working collaboratively with other teams (e.g Sales, Finance) to ensure effective delivery of the process
  • Maintaining complete and up to date process documentation
  • Acting as a Business Partner in Vrumona (e.g. Legal, Sales, Customer Service,) in order to provide timely and accurate data and ensure effective collections and disputes management
  • driving own personal development in Finance specific skills and business knowledge of implementing his/her development plan

As OtC specialist you will report to the R&A Manager. Your position is based in Bunnik.


Your department           

Our Financials are the eyes and ears when it comes to financial reporting, financial accounting and reporting systems always analyzing the possibilities for improvement. They signal and optimize inefficient reporting and accounting processes and work in multidisciplinary projects.


Your profile      

For this role we are looking for someone who is an experienced, independent OtC Specialist with strong business partner and stakeholder management capabilities at various levels within the organization. An excellent understanding of the business and relevant processes is required including the ability to communicate well at all levels in the organization.

Also, the ideal candidate has:

  • Strong experience in finance/ Collections (OtC/AR) and with SAP
  • Strong customer focus and strong communicator
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to deal with resistance
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work with large amount of data and with different systems
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent Dutch and English language and (written and verbal) communication skills
