The Global Treasury team is a highly effective Treasury Team that provides best in class Treasury services to the HEINEKEN Group. The mission of Global Treasury is to provide the Group and its operating companies (OpCo) ongoing access to capital at the lowest possible cost, to optimize OpCo and Corporate funding and interest cost, to manage exchange and interest rate risk, to ensure liquidity, to centralize available cash within the Group and to ensure secure bank connectivity across the Group. The team operates in dynamic and volatile market conditions.



In this role, you are part of the Global Treasury team in Amsterdam and you will report to the Regional Treasury Manager Europe & Technology. The Global Treasury team is part of Global Treasury & Insurance, which consists of eighteen professionals with as much as eight different nationalities. Due to the continuous growth of the company, the tasks and duties of this role may evolve over time. You will be keen to develop and grow within the role and to take on additional challenges and responsibilities in relation to Global Treasury technology. You have affinity with Treasury technology and its embedding in the broader finance technology landscape, and you will be able to demonstrate project management skills, self- starting behaviour, coordination and stakeholder management skills. Key responsibilities

  • Drive the further implementation of our new Treasury Management System (Kyriba TMS)
  • Lead and ensure the roll-out of Kyriba TMS to our OpCos
  • Responsible for maintenance and drives the product roadmap for further enhancements of Kyriba TMS
  • Provide and deliver Treasury support for SWIFTNet Transaction Manager (and other bank connectivity) implementations at OpCos globally
  • Responsible for maintenance and business support of other Treasury tools such as Finastra, FXall and Bloomberg
  • Responsible for the coordination with the Treasury Technology team in our D&T organization
  • Responsible for the coordination with the digital backbone architects on Treasury handshakes with the SAP S/4HANA CORE and surrounding platforms
  • Responsible for improving the Treasury Technology landscape to make it future proof. Pro-actively research and maintain awareness of emerging treasury technologies, industry trends, and best practices  Develop relationships across the business to be a trusted business partner and problem solver for treasury technology related areas
  • Lead ad-hoc projects in the Treasury Technology area.


Your profile

  • Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance and certificates in Treasury Management
  • Work experience: 7+ years
  • Advanced knowledge of Treasury technology and system infrastructures  Required work experience in field of expertise: Treasury, Technology, Finance (at a Corporate Treasury department or with Treasury technology providers)
  • Languages: Fluent in English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in change management and transformational projects relating to process redesign and efficiency improvements for treasury operations
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining a Treasury management system is preferred
  • Other skills: Project management, self-starting behaviour, independent critical thinking, excellent analytical skills, advanced knowledge of Excel and Business Analytics Tools, problem solver, building collaborative relationships, motivating others, energetic can-do mentality and curiosity
  • Strong stakeholder management: Treasury Front Office, Treasury Mid Office, Heineken Global Shared Services, Operating Companies, Global Procurement Risk management, Data & Technology, Global Accounting & Risk Management and internal/external Treasury Technology providers
