Procurement Compliance Manager (STA for 1 year)

Job description:

§Function/ Region: Global Procurement
§(Sub)department: Procurement Enablement
§Job purpose: Ensure the global compliance of the Procurement function
§Reports to: Governance Manager
§Direct Reports: None
Roles and Responsibility :
1.) Scope: Design, develop, lead and deliver all aspects of functional compliance to ensure all risks are addressed, all mitigations are in place and all reporting is clear and well managed.
2.) Nature of work: Working independently, operate as the Procurement Compliance Manager for key work items such as Fundamentals, Passport to Play, Supplier Finance and HeiRules. Act as the functional coordinator for any M&A activity plans as well as the annual strategic sourcing category planning sessions.  Needs to be capable of managing multiple activities at any one time.
3.)Budget: Working together with other functions, provide the point of contact for all Project Management Office activity including the reporting of status updates of all procurement related projects/initiatives to ensure a clean delivery of all project work including financial and resource allocation.
4.)Stakeholder management: Management and coordination of multiple stakeholders across the Categories, Functions (e.g. Treasury, P&CI, Audit, HR) and OpCos to ensure the best possible delivery of functional compliance.
5.)Innovation: Find efficient, engaging and innovative ways to manage and improve the functional compliance, including understanding best practice options from other external companies.
Experience & profile (what & how)


§Education: University degree – preferably in a financial, commercial, management or technical discipline
§Work experience: 5-7 years.
§Required work experience in field of expertise: Project management planning and organization. Strong understanding of procurement fundamentals.
§Other fields of expertise: Sound financial and audit understanding.
§Functional skills: strong, practical experience working with data, tools, processes and HGP Toolkit
§Languages: Fluent English essential – additional languages an advantage

§Communication skills: Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to be able to deliver the functional compliance.   Ability to see the wider picture to allow Global Procurement to leverage it’s scale in a fully cross-functional environment.
§Other skills: Needs to be able to build collaborative relationships across different stakeholder groups – both centrally & in OpCo.  Has to be capable of managing working under pressure and being able to manage multiple projects at any one time with limited line manager input.
