Your Mission:

You will work within a team environment of 4 people to create and share the HEINEKEN Company investment thesis. As a designated spokesperson, you will interact with the investment community, both analysts and investors, through regular roadshows, conferences, meetings, calls and events. You will also play an active role in sharing insights with senior management on research and reports on HEINEKEN and peer companies.

What will be your main responsibilities?

  • Prepare draft sections of press releases and information packs for senior management in preparation of engagements with analysts and investors
  • Establish strong relationships with international and local analysts and investors
  • Monitor/review broker research and industry news flow to keep abreast of peer group and industry developments. Enhance internal relationships across the operating companies by sharing relevant feedback on a regular basis.  
  • Understand the way HEINEKEN is valued by the investment community (financial and qualitative considerations)
  • Support effective working relationship with other Group functions.
  • Support management with messaging/feedback on presentations/Q&A when interacting with investors
  • On an adhoc basis, assist listed operating company management teams with investor relations needs, including responding to investor queries and supporting preparation of annual investor days
  • Support preparation of proposal/reports related to ad-hoc IR projects and seek out process improvements to raise effectiveness of IR function
  • Own all ESG related investor engagement and targeting, cross-functional support in positioning sustainability related external updates, updating against long term targets and feed in to the new ways of working as the organisation moves on adopting TCFD and other non-financial disclosures. Actively track sustainability benchmarks (such as Sustainalytics, MSCI, CDP, etc) to ensure consistency of messaging and identifying areas to course correct if needed
  • Review the Annual Report and support the process to ensure consistency of external messaging messaging

 

What do we need from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree at a minimum, with preference for a Master’s degree or a professional qualification (i.e., ACA or CFA) with 5+ years related work experience.
  • Demonstrated communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) with senior / executive level management and the ability to present data in levels of detail appropriate for the audience. English native speaker preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills including consultative skills and the ability to translate financial information and concepts into simple communications
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to work and make decisions under time and situational pressures
  • Substantial knowledge of financial and valuation concepts
  • Articulate and adaptable to a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
  • Good understanding of the overall HEINEKEN company
