The internship

In this internship you will join our Global People Finance capabilities which is part of the Global Talent & Leadership (GT&L) team. Our team is responsible for building Functional capabilities focusing on interactive learning journeys offers, community engagement and lots of interaction with global/region and Opco stakeholders.

During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department. We give you the trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur. We like to bring the outside world inside and therefore we embrace new, fresh ideas with enthusiasm. Of course, always with the guidance that is right for you.


Your responsibilities will be amongst others:

  • Support the coordination of different programmes in our Finance capability cabinet
  • Support in building Finance academy and deployment
  • Support deployment across the Finance function the “Learning day”
  • Support in building learning paths for different personas within the Function
  • Facilitate idea generation and best practice sharing (formal and informal Learn-Share-Reapply) amongst programme deployment teams



The unique you!

  • Currently in study for a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Behaviour, Economics or Business, Marketing, graphic design
  • Fluent English language required
  • Familiar with general office tools (Microsoft)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders
  • Comfortable working independently on tasks and at the same time be a team player
  • Assertive, pragmatic, resilient and a can-do attitude
  • Strong personality with the ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Awareness and passion for Human Resources topics and trends impacting the future of leadership and the future of the workplace, work and workers
  • Ability to coordinate different tasks and the work of others (often more senior to you), analyse and support detailed data and processes
  • Creative !


The terms of employment

  • Your starting date is negotiable
  • The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
  • The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
  • You will be based in our global Head Office in Amsterdam
  • You will receive an internship fee of €500 (HBO/WO)
  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed
  • You are enrolled at an educational institution for the full duration of the internship – this is a must-have prerequisite
    • In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution
    • In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU
