The internship

Are you a bachelor or graduate student, passionate about all things learning and eager to gain experience in a large multinational? Your contribution as an intern is essential to the mission of Global Talent and Leadership (GT&L) to engage all of our 80,000 employees around the globe to embrace learning and growth!


In this role, you can look forward to working on some exciting projects that will help to build our learning culture at HEINEKEN. You will have plenty of opportunities to experiment, pioneer and use your creativity to engage learners.

Working primarily with guidance and support from the Global Digital Learning Lead, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and managing the learning campaign calendar
  • Designing and deploying regular learning campaigns to stimulate engagement / increase utilisation of cross-functional learning offers (e.g. from LinkedIn Learning)
  • Supporting research and design of priority cross-functional learning offers
  • Experimenting and testing ways of improving the digital learning experience, e.g. by implementing design enhancements
  • Administrating the global learning platform and providing ad hoc system support to admins
  • Supporting in HR competency model refresh, capability building and People Academy design / set-up

The terms of employment

  • Your starting date is 1 September 2022
  • The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
  • The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
  • You are registered at an educational institution
  • It is a practice-oriented internship
  • You will be based in Amsterdam
  • You will receive an internship fee of €500 (HBO/WO)
  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed


The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.
