Internship – Commercial materials – June 2023
HEINEKEN is looking for you!
Every day we work with pride on our great products that you have certainly had in your hand at a party, during a work meeting or at home on the couch. HEINEKEN is much more than just beer. We actively work to create a pleasant work environment where everyone feels respected and has equal opportunities. Your personality, knowledge and skills are the success of our organization.
The internship
As a valued member of the Heineken Global Procurement Commerce and Business Services team – you will be working in a product team that develops an e-Shop for Point of Sales Materials (POSM). This e-Shop includes a variety of POS materials – fridges, parasols, outdoor signs, glasses and many others. Our key customers – Commerce (Trade marketing, Brand) and Procurement departments need to source the right POSM from the best suppliers, to promote and serve our products.
With the e-Shop, we aim to simplify that sourcing experience, empowering teams across the globe to shop POSM the same way they would shop online for their personal needs, sharing best practices across brands and markets, benchmarking POSM prices and supplier capabilities whilst driving sustainable purchase behaviours.
This e-Shop is being built in what we called an Agile manner – developing and deploying the e-Shop in incremental steps, taking into consideration the feedback from the users as we go. That process is being managed by a ‘product team’ led by a Product Owner (PO), who you will be work with.
During your internship, you will be supporting the PO with the deployment of the shop globally, engaging and collaborating with the users to understand their needs, pain points and supporting the team with enabling new functionalities of the e-Shop based on the user feedback.
More concretely you will:
- Support deployment of the e-Shop in 16 new countries and track their progress
- Work with the users to drive adoption of the e-Shop (through engaging communication, creating learning sharing opportunities for current users, etc.)
- Support users with ongoing demand and questions
- Collect user feedback and identify new features to develop within the e-Shop
- Manage our Community of Practice and communications within a variety if channels
- Analyse e-Shop usage and identify new opportunities
During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company and work with various countries. We give you the trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur. We like to bring the outside world inside and therefore we embrace new, fresh ideas with enthusiasm. Of course, always with the guidance that is right for you.
