Senior Automation Engineer (Global Team)

 Location: Schiphol, Amsterdam
Hours: Your choice between 32 up to 40 hours per week
Travel: 20% International travel

What you will do

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to strengthen our Global Process Automation & Advanced Technologies team. In this critical role, you will be part of Projects and Engineering which is situated within Global Supply Chain. You will be asked to contribute to our Capex investment projects across the world. In multi-disciplinary project teams, consisting of brewing, packaging, utilities, civil engineers and project managers, you will contribute to deliver a safe, secure and integrated design. You are involved from feasibility until start-up and operation. And working on equipment extensions as well as greenfield breweries. Besides projects, you will drive innovation in supply chain by embedding digital solutions like our Connected Brewery ecosystem in manufacturing.

What can you expect

You will be working on projects and supporting development of our digital ecosystem in manufacturing. Here are 2 examples of recent projects:

• Leading from design to start-up of all automation scopes for our greenfield VungTau brewery in Vietnam.
• Development and roll out of a standard module that collects, organizes and sends data from our operations to our IoT Connected Brewery.

What experience would set you up for success in this role?

• Independent process automation experience in CAPEX projects
• Skilled in Capital project excellence, supplier relation management, building first time right and being a reliable business partner
• Expert in PLC-SCADA systems, data analysis, reporting and IT
• Understanding of global standards like ISA S88, ISA 95 ISA S99, TPM
• Understanding of latest digital developments in manufacturing: IoT, AI, OT security
