Brewing: The brewing department brings our golden pride to life by bringing together the perfect combination of hops, water, barley and our A-yeast in the right conditions. They do this with pride and passion knowing that the quality of the world famous Heineken beer is determined by their efforts of the past week.
Packaging: The Packaging Department takes over from Brewing. They ensure that the production lines run 24/7 without interference, that the bottles are not filled too much or too little and that the labels are perfectly positioned on our products.
Maintenance group: The maintenance group covers all our breweries with technical departments. These are the knowledge carriers in the field of (corrective and preventive) maintenance. In the maintenance group work various types of people with an technical background. For example: technicians (Mechanical and Electronic & Instrumentation), work planners, all-rounders and maintenance engineers. They all have one task and that is to keep our machines in perfect condition for now and far into the future. These days we have high-tech machines, but also machines older than 40 years.
Technology & Quality: The Department of Technology & Quality contributes to the optimalisation of quality control within the breweries. T&Q supports the production in Brewing and Packaging by taking samples daily using a label plan and analyzing them.
Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L): The CS&L department within HEINEKEN Netherlands Supply is responsible for customer service, supply chain planning and logistics processes (in- and outbound) for the Dutch and International market. More than 70% of the beer produced by HNS is being produced for the foreign market.
Safety, Health & Environment (SHE): The SHE team at the breweries focuses entirely on creating and ensuring a safe and healthy working environment and thus manages the work risks.
