Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position based at the Goudini Distillery, Western Cape.

The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Specialist.

 Key Performance Areas include, but are not limited to:

• Do preventative maintenance as scheduled
• Report on maintenance related planning
• Take routine water/electrical readings weekly and capture on livelink sheets.
• Rigging of structures
• Perform monthly safety inspections
• Plumbing duties
• Active participation in TPM activities
• Ad hoc duties when required
• Maintain good housekeeping practices within the maintenance workshop

 The successful candidate must have the following qualifications; experience; skills and attributes:

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
•  
• Relevant experience in a maintenance and/or civils environment
• A valid code 08 drivers’ license essential
• A valid Forklift licence license will be advantageous
• Practical knowledge of safety regulations, practices and safe work procedures
• Literacy – to complete inspection sheets (PM-PM) and job cards
• Must be medically and physically fit
• Willingness to work overtime, shifts, stand-by duty and irregular hours when required
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
