Applications are invited for the above mentioned position to be based at the Goudini Distillery. This position reports to the Distillery Manager.

 

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

 

  1. Assist with compiling the annual OPEX budget and forecast processes
  2. Review the OPEX Budget on a monthly basis and report variances
  3. Monthly Internal Control Checklists (ICC’s), including monthly Procurement ICC’s
  4. Control purchasing and payment of vendors in line with budget
  5. Monthly issuing of stocks and preparing journals when required
  6. Management of the general office administration
  7. Responsible for all personnel related administration when required
  8. Ensure accurate and timeous submission of monthly payroll information
  9. Actively participate in all relevant TPM activities
  10. Ad hoc administration duties as required

 

The successful candidate must preferably have the following experience/skills/attributes:

 

  1. Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
  2. A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in Commerce, will be highly advantageous
  3. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
  4. Advanced Computer skills (MS Office suite, SAP would be an advantage)
  5. Must be able to work accurately under pressure with minimal supervision
  6. Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  7. Strong organisational abilities
  8. Good interpersonal and communication skills
  9. Must be willing to work irregular hours when required
  10. Punctuality and attendance reliability
