Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position in Supply Chain, TPM & Capability based in Vereeniging. The successful incumbent will report to the TPM & Capability Specialist.


Purpose of the Position:
The TPM & Capability Intern will support the team in developing and maintaining utilities work instructions, as well as providing administrative and operational support to Customer Services and Logistics.
This role is ideal for a candidate looking to gain practical experience in engineering processes, continuous improvement, and cross-functional support within a dynamic environment

Key Performance Area:

•    Assist in the creation, review, and updating of utilities work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
•    Support TPM initiatives and capability-building activities within the team.
•    Collaborate with Customer Services and Logistics teams to provide administrative and process support.
•    Capture, organise, and maintain technical and operational documentation.
•    Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Participate in process mapping and improvement projects.
•    Ensure all documentation aligns with company standards and compliance requirements.
•    Provide general support to the TPM & Capability Specialist as required.

 


The successful candidate must have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
•    Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
•    Basic understanding of engineering principles and processes.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•    Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
•    Good communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
•    Valid driver's license.

•    Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
•    Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
•    Basic understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (advantageous).

 

Duration:
•    Internship contract (typically 6–12 months, depending on company requirements).
Location
•    Gauteng - Sedibeng Brewery (Travel when needed).
