Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position in the Engineering Department, based at JC Le Roux in Stellenbosch. The successful incumbent will report to the Maintenance Team leader

 

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of workshop consumable as needed
  • Ordering of spares and parts as needed
  • Day to day administration of activities in the workshop
  • Maintain PM master data when requested
  • Create requisitions for all maintenance related requests
  • Create requisition for all approved CAPEX and abnormal Maintenance requests
  • Assist with capturing of budget information on SAP
  • Create job cards and do monthly reports
  • Assist with the completion of annual budgets
  • Assist with capturing of budget information on SAP system
  • Assist in audit process
  • Handle administration duties
  • Conduct full stock take
  • Ad hoc duties and projects
  • Actively participate in TPM business initiatives.

 

The successful candidate must have the following qualification, skills and experience:

  • Minimum grade 12 qualification and qualification in accounting(advantageous)
  • 3-5yrs relevant working experience with a maintenance/engineering environment
  • Computer literacy in MS Office Suite, SAP and Coupa
  • Ability to work independently, identify and solve problems and make relevant decisions.
  • Good time management and co-ordination skills.
  • Willing to work overtime when necessary
  • Own reliable transport
  • Be self-motivated and action driven.
  • Be a team player and innovator.
  • Be action driven to close out tasks timeously.
  • Drive focused improvement projects within the team.
