Admin Clerk

 

Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position to be based in Springs, Supply Chain within Warehouse: Dry-Goods Department. The successful Candidate will report to the Dry-Goods Admin Controller.

 

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Ensure effective administration of stock variances.
  • Manage and assist with the administration of losses and write-offs
  • Ensure effective administration, workplace improvement and housekeeping
  • Control ISO procedures and Internal Control Checklists (ICCs)
  • Assist with compiling the annual Warehouse Budget and Forecasts
  • Workplace improvement
  • Assist with daily and monthly stock take process
  • Assist with effective management of Warehouse goods
  • Assist and coordinate the loading / offloading of contracted transport

 

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

  • Must have Grade 12
  • A tertiary qualification in Warehouse and Logistics will be beneficial.
  • Must have minimum of 1-2 years Warehouse administration.
  • Proven immaculate administrative skill.
  • Knowledge and experience in administrative systems.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Working knowledge and Computer literate in MS Office, Excel - intermediate level is essential.
  • Experience on the SAP administrative system will be beneficial.
  • Understanding of (SOP) standard operating procedures within Warehouse environment.
  • Experience in stock management
  • Dynamic, energetic individual who enjoys a fast-paced working environment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels also with suppliers and both internal and external customers.
  • Knowledge of ISO and HACCP systems.
  • To reflect good leadership behaviour towards colleagues, seniors and company values
  • Must be willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
  • Actively participate in the MDT activities.
