Key performance areas should include but are not limited to:
Co-ordinate Dry goods, Materials, and Gasses:
- Manage the receipt and issue of consumables (Dry Goods & Flavours)
- Placing orders and ensure timeous supply of dry goods/materials to Production
- Confirm traceability of stock movements
- General administrative duties
- Draw samples for Quality checks
- Ensure a sound relationship with internal and external clients and suppliers
Control administration and take part in stocktaking:
- Manage Dry Goods/Flavour stock levels
- Responsible to assist in monthly stocktaking
- Record daily movements of dry goods in area of responsibility
- Ensure that quality standards, policies and procedures are implemented and always followed (QM Systems, FSSC, ISO, etc)
- Limit losses, write-offs and stock variances
• Comply with SHE requirements
• Adhere to Goods Receiving procedure
• Receiving and checking of goods against Purchase Orders/STO’s
• Accurate goods issuing to internal customers
• Maintain goods stores conditions
• Maintain effective housekeeping (5S) and safety practices in area
• Stock management according to FEFO(FIFO) principles
• Participate and implement TPM practices
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
- Matric
- 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in a Warehouse environment
- NQF 3 Stores and Warehousing qualification will be advantageous
- Have proven verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of a FMCG environment will be advantageous
- Knowledge of Warehousing safety regulations is a requirement
- Computer literacy: Outlook, MS Office, SAP is required
- A Valid forklift license is a requirement
