The Sales Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and optimize commercial strategies. The role requires a highly analytical and commercially experienced candidate. The candidate would actively support our functional teams with ideas; insights and research, based on customer and consumer data. This would be applicable on the current data sets as well as being comfortable with a predictive analytic environment. The candidate would need to dive into large data sets to structurally analyze and digest insights. They will be required to translate and visualize these insights and ensure that the functional teams (across OpCo) can act upon them to ensure relevant reach and understanding. The candidate and team analyses will be the starting point for strategic, commercial, and operational plans to grow our portfolio with a customer and consumer focused lens, this leans itself to actively be involved with the training and capability of key stakeholders to use our dashboards and translate this into actionable insights from a self-service environment.

 

KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Maintain existing dashboards and data models and develop new reporting and analytics solutions in line with business requirements using new data sources and models – drive new ways of reporting through the channel into the broader organisation
  • Analyze data and pro-actively provide insights and actionable ideas for business improvement to cross-functional Stakeholders while remaining more future focused and delivering future trends through qualitative data management and utilization.
  • Deep analysis and presentation of complex information in an understandable and compelling manner to the broader Heineken beverages organization driving quality management through the data council and principles through your team.
  • Supporting commercial team members in becoming more self-serving and empowered in managing customer conversations, this will be done through continued training support to all users approaching the development process through the agile framework.
  • Coordinating and managing the opportunities that exist in data integration and consolidation from 2nd and 3rd parties
  • Identifying digital audiences and continuously testing data variables to find what works best
  • Be a data translator between business goals and digital enablement on various projects to ensure data sourcing, integrity, integration and automation is achieved.
  • Focusing on opportunities to accelerate predictive analytics and reporting to accelerate the influence of data to the broader organization for testing and/or scaling.
  • Play a key role with regards to TSA enhancement, automation, training, roll-out, back-office support and reporting
  • Drive collaboration between data providers and digital enablement on data quality, master and meta data alignment
  • Perform the stand in function when required for Sales Intelligence Analysts within the team
  • Fully understand the Sales and Marketing KPI’s and perform tasks in support of the month end sales incentive process
  • Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform sales strategies and tactics.
  • Sales Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain regular sales performance reports, including sales dashboards, scorecards, and other metrics.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform commercial decisions, including competitor activity, customer behavior, and market trends.
  • Customer Insights: Analyze customer data to identify opportunities to drive growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase loyalty.
  • Commercial Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement commercial strategies that drive sales growth and improve profitability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, including Sales directors, commercial directors, and other business leaders.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve sales intelligence processes, tools, and systems.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor or Honors degree, preferably in an analytical and data field, e.g., econometrics, business or financial economics, business informatics, mathematics, computer science, statistics, data management (or similar)

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • 5-7 years FMCG experience / Digital Experience
  • Experience as an analyst
  • You are a master in Excel and eager to learn new programs
  • You are a specialist in data analytics tools (e.g., Qlikview, PowerBI)
  • Knowledge of analytical tools and statistical tools are required (e.g. SQL, SAP, SAS, SPSS, Oracle Discoverer, Salesforce, Python)
  • Strong knowledge on Agile way of working
  • Analytically strong, highly structured, problem solving orientated
  • Business sense, able to connect data insights to business implications, current and future from data available
  • Independent, pro-active way of working
  • Strong communicator, able to translate data insights into comprehensible reports to different stakeholders
  • Agile mindset, able & willing to constantly adapt to changing reality
