Title:  Installation Controller

Key responsibilities: 

• Ensure reliable operation and availability of Brewing Department equipment by effectively managing brewing maintenance programmes (links between planned maintenance, breakdown response and PDCA driven through TPM initatives).
• Provide first line corrective action and troubleshooting for production equipment failures, to minimise downtime and losses.
• Optimise the operation of brewing equipment to improve process efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure that brewing equipment operates safely and meets all legislative, and Heineken standards.
• Support the development of brewing staff by providing technical expertise in brewing maintenance processes.
• Ensure cost effective brewing maintenance by developing and managing brewing maintenance budgets, including determining spare parts inventory.

• Ensure the department operates within company SHE standards and OHS Act, through continued education, training, and obtaining the co-operation and commitment of all staff to observe all safety rules, procedures and processes in order to drive zero accident mentality.
• Drive improvement processes and set priorities in order to develop, implement and maintain best in class standards and basic conditions.

Qualifications:

• B Sc. (Eng) or B Tech (Eng) Mechanical/ Electrical
• Tertiary qualification around asset management will be advantageous
• GCC (Factories) or working towards one

 Experience:

• 5 years maintenance experience in production or technical environment.
• 5 years leadership experience within an FMCG environment
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• SAP PM and MM knowledge will be an added advantage
