Title: Engineering Specialist
Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
- Administration and PM Completion
- Ensure maintenance of machinery and equipment on the site
- Maintenance of plant grounds
- Improving overall equipment efficiency on the site
- Departmental budgeting
- Managing artisans
- Operations and engineering services
- Health and Safety Maintenance and Enforcement
- Project management
- Drive MDWT (Mission Direct Work Teams)
Requirements:
- Must have sound knowledge and experience in the operation of boilers, compressors, ammonia plant, and cellar equipment (such as Pasturizers, Pumps, Valve Matrixies, Centrifuges, CIP stations, Sedicanters, Decanters, Filters, etc..)
- Trade tested mechanical or electrical artisan or technician
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- N6 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering will be an extra advantage
- Minimum of 5 years practical experience
- Have proven verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of plant safety regulations regarding tools and equipment
- Knowledge of all workshop/engineering tools, machines, apparatus and materials
- Computer literate on SAP and MS Office
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
