Title:  EPOS Product Owner

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Product Owner who will be responsible for the direct B2C e-Commerce platform. This includes but is not limited to the end to end Product Lifecycle from inception to delivery and ongoing KPI measurement and optimisation. The successful candidate will be creative as well as analytical and touch on all areas of digital, working closely with the wider HEINEKEN teams.  He/she will also manage a process of integration, development and optimisation in relation to key areas within the customer journey as well as helping to identify and coordinate the design and development of new functionality and needs of our customer and well as consumer through third party while aligning the needs of the HEINEKEN internal stakeholders.

 

Key Result Areas

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, third party and key members of management to align strategy and needs of platform to deliver business objectives.
  • Leading end to end initiatives including using research and discovery, development of user flows, wireframes and stories (with UX/Design), tracking, QA, UAT, post launch validation and ongoing optimisation in an Agile manner using Scrum methodology and artefacts.
  • Develop and deliver the EPOS roadmap for improvements 
  • Apply a data driven approach to define, prioritise and validate the Product roadmap and backlog, using multiple data sources and customer insight (qualitative and quantitative) and to continuously drive improvements in the customer user experience with a view to increase utilisation rates, consumer sign-on and consumer retention rates.
  • Manage business stakeholders to gather well-defined requirements in line with business objectives and manage expectations as well as gain sign off on deliverables
  • Manage output from external technical delivery teams, translating business requirements into technical stories and vice versa
  • Work with other departments (Digital Marketing & Acquisition, Buying, CRM, Finance, Customer Service) to identify customer pain points and to develop possible solutions
  • Oversee and coordinate any UI/UX work that needs to be completed through a vendor
  • Provide the data for weekly and monthly reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Be comfortable presenting to senior management stakeholders
  • Governance and compliance to all policies and procedures
  • Manage and build relationship with the project sponsor and relevant departments
  • Ensure stakeholders are engaged professionally, honestly and impartially with respect
  • Ensure project plans are coordinated and aligned from concept to development; from design to implementation; and launched across the business.
  • Ensure that targets are delivered on time, within budget and first-time-right
  • Ensure issues that require development capacity are correctly liaised to Development Operation teams
  • Regularly delivering product demos to key stakeholders
  • Understand and implement customer and consumer needs to translate into further development needs with third party, ability to quantify and understand purpose and urgency for development within the backlog context

 

Educational Qualifications

  • B.Com in Marketing / Business  / Analytics / or a related field
  • Product Owner Professional with 3-5 years experience

 

Professional Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Ability to translate long term ambitions to short-term execution plans
  • Understanding of OpCo Route to Market and business models
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Authority to make decisions, drive teams and interact with senior stakeholders
  • Strong Google Analytics experience
  • UX and UI design experience would be beneficial
  • Experience in content management
  • Excellent communication and Stakeholder management skills
  • Experience within cross-functional teams Agile environment is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in backlog grooming, User Story development and prioritization
  • Strong level of commercial acumen to ensure understanding of business value and implications of the team’s technical deliverable
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail
