Purpose of the Position

The Channel Activities Planning Specialist will provide crucial support to the Activity Planning Team, assisting in the development and execution of Below-The-Line (BTL) campaigns. This role involves managing administrative tasks, coordinating communications, and ensuring smooth workflow processes to aid in the timely delivery of campaigns. The Activity Planning Specialist will help ensure that all stages of the campaign are efficiently managed, and that communication between stakeholders is clear and consistent.

 

KEY RESULT AREAS

 

  • Campaign Coordination: Assist in the coordination of BTL campaigns, ensuring all phases meet timelines, creative briefs, and key milestones.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate timely communication between the Channel Activities Planning Manager, brand teams, channel leads, Channel Activities Deployment Manager, and regional teams to ensure alignment and smooth campaign execution.
  • Channel Lead Collaboration: Work closely with channel leads to support outlet targeting efforts, ensuring campaigns are effectively directed toward the right outlets.
  • CMD Interface: Act as the primary interface with the Customer Master Data (CMD) team, ensuring that all customer data related to campaign targeting is accurate and up to date.
  • Own 3rd party execution briefing and subsequent tracking of implementation across channels
  • Resource Management: Help monitor resource allocation by coordinating project workloads and balancing resources across teams.
  • Schedule Management: Maintain and update campaign schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and all stakeholders are informed of progress or changes.
  • Reporting & Tracking: Assist in tracking the status of campaigns, providing regular updates to the Activity Planning Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Document Management: Ensure all campaign-related documentation is organized, accessible, and regularly updated.
  • Meeting Preparation: Assist in preparing for cross-functional collaboration sessions, including agendas, distributing materials, and coordinating logistics.
  • Activity Planning Support: Provide daily administrative support to the Channel Activities Planning Manager, including meeting coordination, and preparing reports.
  • Post-Campaign Support: Assist in gathering data and feedback for post-campaign analysis, helping to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Follow Heineken Beverages policies and procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

 

 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Degree/Diploma in Commerce, Marketing or Business Administration

 

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

 

  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Proven commercial acumen.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • The ability to build good working relationships at various levels
  • Good presentation skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Highly organised.
  • Innovation orientated and passionate about continuous improvement.
