Purpose of the Position

The Channel Activities Deployment Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Channel Marketing systems, processes, and operations. This role focuses on identifying and driving efficiency improvements, optimizing marketing processes, and supporting the channel teams in achieving their objectives. The individual will also be accountable for key systems, procurement, CRM, POSM warehousing and reporting tools.

 

 

KEY RESULT AREAS

 

Strategic Process Management:

  • Monitor progress of trade marketing campaign development goals, implementing corrective actions when necessary to meet delivery targets.

 

Systems & Process Development:

  • Collaborate with D&A to develop and improve campaign development reporting modules and systems, ensuring they meet stakeholder needs and support trade marketing efforts.
  • Provide necessary tools (IT, process, project management) to maximize performance across trade marketing pillars.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and business rule documentation for ASL / Link.

 

Governance & Compliance:

  • Ensure that all governance and process controls are in place and strictly adhered to within the trade marketing services department.
  • Own and manage the procurement progress reports, campaign funds, and merchandising / campaign management models to ensure accountability and transparency.

 

Customer Satisfaction & Feedback:

  • Conduct regular surveys to measure stakeholder satisfaction and gather insights to inform process improvements.
  • Maintain a close understanding of stakeholder needs, ensuring services and processes evolve to meet changing requirements.

 

Reporting & Performance Management:

  • Oversee the integration and reporting for activity planning and merchandising management across regions.
  • Own and manage POSM catalogue development with channel teams and coordinate with the global team when necessary.

 

Process Optimization & Cost Management:

  • Continuously optimize and improve trade marketing systems and work processes to drive productivity and cost reduction.

 

Customer-Focused Operations:

  • Prioritize customer needs, ensuring that company resources are effectively allocated to provide timely service.
  • Leverage customer feedback to evolve products, services, and processes, ensuring they meet customer satisfaction goals.
  • Own POSM warehousing and management of 3rd party warehousing partners, ensuring best in class access to POSM by our sales teams.

 

Financial Management & Brand Profitability:

  • Use financial data to propose and implement system and process improvements.

 

Marketing Initiatives & Continuous Improvement:

Ensure compliance with Heineken Beverages policies and procedures while continuously identifying areas for operational improvement

 

 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Finance or Business Administration

 

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

 

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Exceptional decision-making abilities.
  • Builds strong relationships and networks. 
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and trade customers.
  • Delivery orientated, always keeping excellent execution at the core.
  • An understanding of changing market trends and best practices.
  • Strong reporting system background, with a proven track record of meaningful reporting tool development.
