Title:  Temp Lab Analyst

Lab Analyst

Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position to be based at the Wadeville Production. The successful candidate will report to the Intrinsic Quality Manager. 

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

·        Perform accurate and timeous analyses on various samples to meet SLA requirements.

·        Maintain equipment to working condition as per schedule and conduct trouble shooting prior to escalating when necessary.

·        Perform various administrative activities as and when required.

·        Work according to policies, procedures and CAM to maintain various systems applied.

·        Proactively participate in problem solving and identify risk /improvement opportunities.

·        Communicate effectively with various teams.

·        Participate in proficiency testing scheme as per lab requirements.

·        Optimize use of lab resource-consumables etc.

·        Participate in internal audits.

·        Act as Senior Lab Analyst when required.

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

·        National Diploma in Food Technology or Microbiology or equivalent qualification.

·        Ability to work under pressure.

·        Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential.

·        Computer literacy, preferably MS Office; LIMS and SAP will be considered advantageous
