Title: Intern Supply Chain Quality
Purpose of the position:
The intention is to give practical work experience to students who are in their final year of study and require exposure in awork environment and require practical work experience to obtain their qualification. Successful interns will be expected to enter a 12-month contract commencing 01 February 2024 and terminating on 31 January 2025.
Key Learning Areas include (but are not limited to):
- Quality Control and Assurance (Intrinsic & Extrinsic, Quality Management System; etc)
- Research
- Production
To qualify for selection and participation in this programme, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:
- South African Citizen
- Satisfactory academic record and in final year of obtaining relevant tertiary qualification.
- Diploma in Food Technology/Analytical Chemistry, BSc Biotechnology)
- Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Sound communication and presentation skills.
- Effective time management.
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Reliable transport to and from place work
- Willing and able work extended hours.
- Successful interns will be expected to enter a 12-month contract.
Prospective interns must submit the following documents:
- Covering letter/ Motivational letter,
- A curriculum vitae (CV),
- Academic record, Certified Grade 12 certificate,
- A letter from the tertiary institution,
- A format for evaluation, required by the tertiary institution,
- Certified copies of Identity Document.
