Accountable for managing the Digital and D&T demand for specific business function(s) and successful delivery of Technology solutions compliant with the HEINEKEN enterprise architecture. The D&T Lead owns the end-to-end relationships to the business function, closely interact on all levels to give inputs into and delivery of digital transformation.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

 

Strategic planning & execution

  • D&T strategic business partner to relevant functions
  • Engage with and input into the business plans and strategies.
  • Engage with suppliers and industry experts as to developments in D&T, FMCG and relevant function industry.
  • Gives input into D&T Function specific strategy and budget in line with global guidelines.
  • Translate into a D&T Function specific plan, including Multi - year objectives, considering the business / functional strategy and business & company digital project portfolio.
  • Facilitate trade-off decisions as to when priorities need to be changed.
  • Ensure the execution of the year plan (including projects) as well as management of the operational processes and activities in accordance with the relevant stakeholders.

 

Business-D&T alignment and Demand Management

  • Drive adoption of digital tools within Heineken Beverages.
  • Understand business needs and requirements, manage priorities, define and maintain a Functional solutions portfolio with strategic multi (3) year roadmaps for each solution that is aligned to the OpCo and Global Function strategic roadmaps.
  • Understand business objectives and integration requirements of the OpCo using both business and technical skills.
  • Be the partner of the Business function and work with business representatives to develop and maintain a Digital and D&T solution portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Central GIS teams to align decisions on strategic Initiatives related to the applicable functional area.

 

Solution definition to implementation

  • Translate requests and roadmaps in D&T solutions proposals (processes, solutions, services and tools) collaborating with GIS and local Enterprise Architecture team and/or third-party suppliers, following GIS guidelines and analysing the integration with existing systems.
  • Contribute to the creation of those business cases for the development of new solutions.
  • Contribute to the selection of third-party suppliers and collaborate with the Procurement team to prepare the tenders and define the contracts.
  • Manage the project portfolio and coordinate the implementation of all programs for the reference function performing risk analysis, defining needed resources (internal and external) and ensuring that the D&T solution are aligned with standards (security, GIS and strategies).
  • Manage and track all the change requests for the reference function.
  • Manage the relevant budgets both for projects and change request for the reference functions.
  • Manage the life cycle of D&T solutions for the reference area providing information material, performing an appropriate transition to the Service Delivery team, and ensuring continuous improvement while respecting business continuity.
  • Ensure that D&T solutions comply with technology and data standards and fit within the overall HEINEKEN Enterprise Architecture and standards.

 

Financial Management

  • Prepare, monitor, control Project budgets.
  • Prepare, monitor, and control the annual department budget to ensure expenditure is in line with the Business plan.
  • Optimal management of Opex and Capex.

 

Operations

  • Ensure incidents logged for applications are handled within their functional area.
  • Manages SLA adherence and escalations.
  • Identification and management of Risks and Audit Findings

 

Business Partnering 

  • Maintain and build relationships with internal customers and relevant parties.
  • Represent D&T, when communicating with the business functions.
  • Understand the cross-functional dependencies of the business asks and manage and own the delivery there of. This involves owing all delivery from D&T to the customer you are accountable for.
  • Educate the business with regards to the Digital & D&T services, processes and technology.
  • Engage the customer on a regular basis with the outcome being that the customer sees us as a business partner and D&T attains the optimal maturity level.

 

Research & Development:

  • Gather, interpret and identify D&T developments and trends within the business / market and recommend measures to the process owner if necessary.\

 

People management:

  • Lead the functional team and manage employees including recruitment, performance management and (career) development.
  • Coaches and mentors’ direct reports.

 

Solutions Architecture

  • Assure consistency of local application landscape.
  • Maintain knowledge of application environment/landscape to drive standardization.

 

Education and Experience: 

  • CA or CIMA Qualification required.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT or related field.
  • Experience with or knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, current equipment and technologies, system performance monitoring, cloud and mobile solutions
  • Expertise in managing the implementation, configuration, and testing of solutions.
  • Strong understanding of business and processes.
  • Experience with define Digital & IT strategies and roadmaps.
  • Proven experience in managing a senior team.
  • Ability to explain complex technical processes to business stakeholders.
  • Excellent people and conflict management, leadership and facilitation skills
  • Experience on SAP ECC.
  • Strong Change Management Skills
  • Very comfortable with fluent structures and reporting
  • Very strong analytical abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and on several initiatives concurrently
  • Agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Agile certification advantageous.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
