Title:  Customer Service, Logistics & Planning Manager

 

BRALIRWA Plc, is looking for a Strategic thinker Customer Service, Logistics, Planning Manager with a passion for streamlining operations and ensuring seamless supply chain execution. you'll lead end-to-end supply chain operations, oversee planning processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and resource allocation. As CSLPM you will be located in Kigali, Rwanda reporting to the Supply Chain Director

 

JOB PURPOSE

Develop and ensure the implementation of an operational plan for the OpCo, in line with local, regional and global supply chain plans, in order to drive for world class Planning, Logistics, Service and Innovation performance and continuous improvement against appropriate costs/service/working capital trade off.

 

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Opco Supply Chain Strategy

 

· Develop and implement the CSL strategy for the OpCo, in line with the global and regional SC strategy. Including make or buy strategy.

Customer Service

· Contribute to Heineken being a preferred partner to the customer by ensuring world-class customer service and collaboration.

· Implement and supervise customer management through state-of-the-art processes and transaction systems, including collaborative business and product planning.

 

Planning and Operational Plan

 

· Ensure the planning of the complete supply chain (incl. demand allocation) through effective planning processes and systems and internal co-ordination mechanisms.

· Aligned with the operational plan, facilitating objective trade off management through Sales & Operation Planning

· Define an operational plan, including one-year objectives and gap to fill, in line with the local, regional, and global objectives.

· Give input to 3-year OpCo plan in line with the developed SC strategy for the Region and translated SC strategy for the OpCo

 

Contract Management of Logistic Provider and Transport

 

· Define targets for the outsourcing of Logistics services and negotiate in close cooperation with/give input to GPCo.

· Manage contracts with Logistic Service Providers against clear Service Level Agreements ( SLA)

· Ensure efficient and effective transport services at an optimized cost level through excellent cooperation with direct customers

 

Safety and Sustainability

 

· Create and maintain a safe environment for employees, contractors and visitors according to the applicable statutory, Heineken and local regulations, policies and procedures

 

Projects & Management Reporting

 

· Lead projects that impact the whole dedicated production organization and contribute to projects that go beyond the dedicated production organization.

· Report performance accurately and timely; Analyze and interpret local and regional results and effectively communicate to the relevant stakeholders

 

People Management

 

· Lead the department, including necessary changes management, and manage a team of people including recruitment performance management and (career)development resources projects.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

 

· Bachelor’s degree in planning , Logistics ,Supply Chain or any other related field. A Masters’ degree or a Supply Chain Certificate will be an added advantage.

· Minimum of 6 years working experience at supply chain Management level with at least 4 years hands-on in experience in logistics and customer service

· Good business acumen and adaptable to change High integrity

· Strategic and tactical delivery skills

· Strong interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively in English, Kinyarwanda and French will be an added advantage.

· Analytical and have an excellent attention to details are a must

· Ability to interact and lead colleagues/peers with a different functional background

· Interested in data insights and decision making

· Experience working in International organization will be an added advantage.

· Strong communication and influencing capabilities

· Extensive experience in team leadership and training

· Must be flexible to travel upcountry
