We are expanding our Commerce Digital and Technology Team by looking for an experienced and ambitious Marketing Technology Lead to make HEINEKEN winning in data driven digital marketing and its highly relevant propositions to beer consumers. HEINEKEN’s ambition is to directly reach 30% of beer and cider drinkers with personalized communication and promotions by 2022.


The Marketing Technology Lead is the person who has strong support and ownership of the end-to-end MarTech architecture, services, the delivery and the partners involved for digital Marketing, digital Creative and Media platforms and solutions, used throughout the creative and media life-cycle. He/she understands the role of data (1st, 2nd and 3rd party), the required ecosystem enabling creative excellence (i.e Workflow management, asset management, Creative X, DCO), media landscape (CDPs, DSPs, media vendors, verify partners, etc) and the dynamics of the marketing technology landscape. Understand and able to translate the Marketing technology stakeholders’ needs and ensures they are converted into relevant solutions, governance and a delivery model in line with the overall D&T and solution roadmaps.


If you are ready:

  • Convert marketing ambitious and requirements into solution architecture specifications governance and delivery model in line with the use cases, global architecture standards and roadmap;
  • Own marketing solutions development and implementation;
  • Lead supplier relationships, contract discussions with suppliers on licenses, prices and performance management incl. global cross-charge of the relevant costs;
  • Collaborate with Global HNK MarTech specialists, Enterprise Architect on the solutions design to ensure it conforms to overall global architectural vision and technical roadmap;
  • Oversee the implementation — ensure the delivered solutions are consistent with the agreed architecture and meet the requirements;
  • Conduct continuous improvement analysis on existing application architectures, identifies architectural optimizations, industry trends, new technologies and delivers solutions;
  • Together with Media and Brand managers, participate in the marketing digital activations set-up according marketing brands plans.

And you have:

  • Strong digital and technology background;
  • Good problem-solving, commercial management and decision-making skills;
  • Ability to communicate, challenge and influence effectively in-group settings in English (fluent). Effective communicator in bringing tech topics to business audience;
  • 3+ years of Working in a digital marketing environment with MarTech platforms, e.g. digital agency, technology provider, digital marketing specialist in a start-up or big company (fintech, foodtech, fmcg, pharma etc.);
  • Proven experience with Consumer Data Platforms, Media automation, Demand Side Platforms;
  • Understanding of marketing, media, data & analytics within FMCG. Brewery is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of tag management and different types of API's.
  • Proven Agile frameworks expertise;
  • Legal & Compliance knowledge (e.g. GDPR, data privacy and security).
