Purpose of the job:

Coordinates the implementation of continuous improvement programs within the organization (Finance and Support Functions) – approx. 70% of the time – and supports internal controls monitoring – approx. 30% of the time –, in accordance with local management expectations, HEINEKEN Group’s policies and local legislation. 

Implementation of continuous process improvement (CPI) is done by applying Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies and best practice on an ongoing basis, to achieve increased efficiency, stronger controls and higher consistency in quality service delivery.

 

Your responsibilities

As a P&CI Specialist you will be supporting and deliver within the following areas:

  • Develop and implement local Continuous Improvement short-term and long-term strategy, in alignment with the business strategy and by partnering with other functions, Shared Service Center (SSC) and Global P&CI
  • Business partnering the company functions by providing insights, relevant best practice and practical recommendations on continuous improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate and coach continuous improvement initiatives and projects across organization:
  • Liaise with Process Owners, Management, D&T and SSC, where applicable, to identify, evaluate and deliver lean and standardization improvements
  • Collaborate with project sponsors, business functions or other stakeholders, as appropriate, to deliver mutually beneficial end-to-end process improvements
  • Support project leaders to apply relevant methodology and ensure efficient project management.
  • Embed the use of standards and lean principles across the Finance organization:
  • Engaging with people within the organization to understand, value, and apply the LSS thinking and principles
  • Facilitate LSS trainings to appropriate audience to ensure sufficient knowledge
  • Consolidate, share and reapply key improvements
  • Provides guidance to sustain improvement changes
  • Coordinates segregation of duties (SOD) monitoring, maintenance and reporting. Actively drives SOD conflicts elimination/mitigation
  • Evaluates, supervise, and test the effectiveness of internal controls
  • Tracks and monitors the progress of implementation for remediating actions associated with ineffective controls, respectively support delivery of CPI projects tackling sustainable remediation of affected processes

 

Your profile

In order to be successful in this exciting role we expect you to have:

  • University degree/Masters preferably in Economics, D&T or Business Administration
  • 3+ years of work experience in process improvement, audit or consulting
  • Professional certifications like LSS (Green Belt +), Project Management, Internal Audit represent an advantage
  • Proven experience in project management: from assessing process and information flows to performing cost/benefit analyses, tracking results, developing recommendations and implementing changes which benefit business performance. LSS project experience is a plus
  • Business knowledge and/or previous exposure to business processes like OTC, PTP, RTR, BPM, DTW, Production, HR), risk management, internal controls (including compliance)
  • Good understanding of lean/six sigma concepts, tools and methods
  • Excellent connecting and communication skills: active listening, coaching, influencing
  • Strong analytical, statistical and computer skills, with emphasis on the ability to perform sophisticated analysis with spreadsheets and/or database applications.
  • Leadership skills: stakeholder management, capability to engage the organization into new ways of working, overcoming people’s resistance to change
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
