Corporate and Brand Public Relations Manager

Your mission:
Leads the development and execution of creative, innovative and impactful corporate and brand public relations campaigns and initiatives, working closely with media, brand marketing teams and external PR agencies, creating positive conditions for growth whilst promoting and protecting corporate and brand reputation through inspiring and engaging PR.
You will report to: Corporate Affairs Director
Location: Vialonga
Your Responsibilities:
- Together with the CA Director and Brand marketing Teams create and implement brand strategies that align with corporate and brands strategies, objectives and positioning
- Develop and implements/delivers engaging Public Relation (PR) campaigns to support key corporate (SCC), brand plans, and key strategic themes, ensuring that all corporate and Brand PR output are compliant with the relevant codes and guidelines, providing proactive advice to brand teams
- Manage all aspects of media relations (brand, corporate and Trade PR), including proactive outreach and leads the Corporate and Brand PR activities thus collaborating with the Marketing Managers, the brand marketing teams (Marketing Managers and Brand Managers), and PR agencies to plan, develop and implement corporate and brand / consumer PR strategies that align with the corporate/brand objectives and positioning
- Execute brand PR campaigns ensuring adaption to local media and cultural context/trends, measures the results, while understanding the local limitations that may exist around marketing alcohol products and ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations and policies, namely local self-regulation codes
- Identify communication opportunities and risks to corporate and brand reputation and propose actions to address them
- Delivery of a 24/7 press office function, in collaboration with colleagues across the CA team and agencies, and supporting issues and crisis communications as required
- Leads the creative journey end to end and proficiently articulates communications and the envisioned impact of corporate/ brand PR initiatives Deploys locally global campaigns for international brands
We want you to bring:
- Degree in media/PR/journalism
- Experience in Journalism (Required)
- Previous experience in similar roles is highly valued, at least 5 years preferably
- Experience of the alcohol industry or working across a number of FMCG brands would be preferable.
- Experience in liaising with a Global function is a plus.
- Excellent copywriting skills
- A natural communicator (speaking and writing), knowledge of industry trends, knowledge of the Portuguese and main international media landscape
- Strong senior stakeholders management at a strategic level
- Strategically focused, results driven, and assertiveness
- Planning and execution capabilities
- High level of English
