In this role you will be accountable for the overall project planning and progress of the deployment and change management in the OpCo, reporting to the Regional Programme Manager and being part of the Regional Programme Leadership Team. You will be leading the Transition Teams (Process Leads and Business Analysts) to be assigned in the complex OpCos. This role is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and adjusting the project plan (based on the input and deliverables of team members) and stakeholder management in the OpCo, ensuring the OpCo activities are in line with the project planning. Furthermore, it provides the management and effectiveness of the process and technology consultants assigned to the project. Other responsibilities include reporting progress, issues and risks, driving risk and issue resolution, coordinating task dependencies, and establishing milestone project goals that keep the project on time and within budget.

 

Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • Central coordination of all transition activities in the assigned OpCo(s) and ensuring OpCos stakeholder alignment and updates. Lead the appointed Regional Transition Team members
  • Ensuring OpCos pre-alignment of deliverables and Tollgate materials as well as defined Tollgate and Exit criteria
  • Regular alignment with Regional Programme Manager
  • Preparing weekly flash reporting to Regional Programme Leadership Team (PLT) following the standard set by the PMO and actively participate in Regional PLT
  • Providing the periodic measurement of plan versus actual with variance analysis
  • Tracking, monitoring and reporting on the project status (percentage complete vs costs expended; hours remaining, etc.)
  • Continually monitoring scope frame, budget and risk; Act as a watchdog for scope creep or scope changes
  • Credibly bringing a solid understanding of the Programme’s objectives and expectations to the OpCo.Ensuring all deliverables for each Transition Phase from Transition preparation up to and including Stabilisation are completed on time in full (OTIF)
  • Together with the OpCo Transition Manager, creating the OpCo Transition Plan and coordinate the sign-off process
  • Driving and monitoring the closure of the gaps identified during the Fit to Standard phase
  • Coordinating testing – End to End and User Acceptance Test (planning, organisation, test scripts) and training (planning, organisation, adaptation of the material)
  • Guiding adequate and completing hand over to Business as Usual
  • Managing project resources to assure maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Provide timely and forward-looking resource requirements
  • Recognising change management issues and risks at their earliest introduction; develop recommendations and mitigating strategies
  • Ensuring that the OpCo BPO organisation is set up and that PPIs are monitored and acted upon
  • Performing or supervise all communications reporting, including status reports and update e-mails or memos to the Regional Programme Manager, Regional PLT, Central programme team. Provide input into senior stakeholder communication.


You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • University Master’s Degree
  • 8-10 years work experience in complex projects in an international environment , preferably in cross-functional programmes and/or ERP implementation
  • Strong management and communication (verbal, written and presentation) skills
  • combination conceptual understanding and practical judgement
  • Excellent skills in relationship building and collaboration at all levels of the organisation
  • the ability to take calculated, well thought through risks
  • Proactivity in identifying and solving problems/issues
  • Good organisational skills
  • Flexiblilty and adaptablity; ability to work in ambiguous situations, dealing with complexity and  time pressure
  • Fluent English (verbal, written).
