Senior Business Support Analyst

Your responsibilities would include:
  • coordination and management of communication to stakeholders during operational cycles
  • monitoring databases by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; ensuring data consistency; recommending actions and follow-up
  • conducting and coordinating financial, operational and related data information to support strategic and business planning within the various stakeholders
  • taking active part in coordination of operational cycles (budgeting, forecasts, strategic plans)
  • performing daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
  • executing assigned process controls and proactively report any instances of non-compliance
  • identifiying issues and use the agreed escalation route in a timely manner if an issue should arise
  • responding to queries from OpCo via e-mail/telephone in alignment with service management processes
  • implementing changes to OpCo counterparts using analytics to support recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
  • communicating financial and operational impact of any changes within scope and coordinates compliance of the process itself introducing best practice
  • creating informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
  • performing ad-hoc request as per requirements of OpCo counterparts
  • providing audit support specific to managerial accounting/reporting
  • acting as the escalation point for the most complex queries and the most sensitive stakeholders
  • suggesting and participates in advanced implementation of new reports (data modelling).
  • assistng in the preparation and review of ICFR Controls.
  • on request acting as BPM Lead back up

You are a good Candidate if:
  • you have 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • you have Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • you have good working knowledge of digital tools like SQL, Python, data warehouse
  • you have high analytical skills
  • you have attention to details and quality
  • you have strong understanding of financial fundamentals and business framework
  • you have strong customer service and communication skills
  • you have good working knowledge of SAP and other IT systems affinity – Excel, SQL, VBA, Power Query, SharePoint
  • you have strong project skills (traditional and Agile) connected to development of financial tools and systems
  • you have excellent collaborative skills allowing to effectively manage the relationship with the key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • you have excellent written and verbal English
