You are a good match if you have:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree
- You have at least 1,5 + years work experience in an IT environment
- You have excellent (communication skills) written and verbal English
- You have Strong stakeholder management and communication skills and leadership skills and you are excellent team player and team builder
- You have positive (are logical and analytical and have ) and problem solving skills (but also creative and foster culture to generate new ideas)
- You (Live and breathes scrum and is able to teach it and) are an expert in industry agile best practices and methodologies, knowledge of DevOps
- You are a coach, facilitator and leader aiming to increase team's performance, satisfaction and motivation
- You have enough technical depth and affinity with the product to understand development and delivery issues within the team and judge their relative importance
- You know the importance of creating value for both the business and the customer
- You are able to work in fast paced environment, meet deadlines and perform at high standards (planning skills, organized, ability to manage risk and uncertainty)
- You have experience with change management, leadership, coaching, solution oriented and continuous improvement
- People oriented, experienced in working with different cultures, foster culture of giving feedback
- Flexible leadership style: able to push back, but also able to pull;
- Ability to work in fast paced environment, meet deadlines and perform at high standards;

Your daily tasks may include:
- Facilitating Agile practices and ceremonies: daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning and other activities as needed
- Promoting and demonstrating core principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and visibility (being an ambassador)
- Ensuring a collaborative culture exists within GIS , its (external) development partners and their product teams, promoting team building and ensuring the entire team is engaged
- Identifying and supporting the team with removing any impediments/distractions that interfere with the team’s ability to deliver against their commitments
- Coaching the team in creating the product backlog, sprint backlogs and writing user stories in the most pragmatic way
- Supporting Product Team in tracking and communicating team progress and backlogs. Looking for opportunities to increase teams effectiveness (and therewith business value)
- Managing ‘Work In Progress Limits’, making sure the team is not working on too many stories/tasks at once, and helping them get into a flow of starting and completing work in a predictable manner
- Identifying product team improvement opportunities and looks externally for best practices in order to increase team effectiveness and overall product quality
- Encouraging the team to look for opportunities to help each other out (e.g. by swarming higher priority user stories that team members are struggling with)
- Working with other Scrum Masters to increase effectiveness of agile ways of working in the organisation
