Profitability & Variance Analysis Deployment Manager

The OpCo Deployment Manager (ODM) role is primarily focused on designing and implementing Profitability & Variance Analysis (P&VA) Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solution in HEINEKEN Operating Company (OpCo) from APAC, AMEE and Americas within JDE/HeiLite environments.

 

The OpCo Deployment Manager will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing remotely the given deployments to ensure successful Go Live. Ensure OpCo P&VA team is equipped with appropriate knowledge to produce relevant reports & outputs from EPM to facilitate business and strategic decision-making.

Ensure successful completion of project deliverables on time, in full. The role involves engaging and cooperating with various work streams within each OpCo (Finance, Production, IT, Master Data, Internal Controls) to achieve the quality and planned timelines, as well as any additional requirements. The role involves hands-on support in operational management of the transition, as well as engagement of a variety of stakeholders (OpCo & Central) and reporting

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan deployment details with all stakeholders and functions involved (OpCo, Central), including scheduling project deliverables and milestones
  • Analyse & identify gaps compared to Global P&VA standards. If Global Design does not address OpCo business requirements, support design optimization in cooperation with GPO BPM, D&T and BASE Standing Organization (BSO)
  • Regularly report to Senior Deployment Lead the project status
  • Coordinating and successfully project manage the integration of EPM into OpCo BAU and making changes stick. Documents change requests & communication with the opco as per project governance.
  • Develop and coordinate communication materials related to change implementation linked with  EPM deployment
  • Ensure OpCo teams are equipped with relevant knowledge (training delivery) and support to effectively resolve issues and produce desired outcome . Deliver KU Trainings for the full P&VA scope. Contribute to KT training materials preparation.
  • Collaborating with Deployment Lead and OpCo Teams to ensure all interdependencies are addressed on time
  • Monitor and control the execution of assigned deployment projects (OpCos), supported by appropriate communication plan, in collaboration with OpCo stakeholders
  • Ensure transparency of communication around EPM deployment through collaboration with OpCo P&VA managers and other relevant stakeholders
  • Pro-actively manage risks and issues and escalate when needed. Resolving transitions issues, document risks and create mitigation plans
  • Any other ad hoc task assigned by Deployment Lead within the scope of functional responsibilities
  • Ensure successful delivery of deployment outputs, including Decision Toll Gates, to sign-off the readiness to move to each deployment stages: Sol ID, Transition set-up, Knowledge transfer, Go Live, hyper care and stabilization.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

  • Relevant Bachelors or Master’s degree
  • Minimum 6-8 years of work experience
  • Demonstrated experience in business control, finance management or managerial reporting. Exposure to cross-functional and complex international environment. (HEINEKEN experience with understanding of Profitability and variance analysis principles, rules and objectives and OpCo situation is an advantage)
  • Extensive exposure to performance management solutions (ERP, BI, Planning solutions), knowledge about JDE/HeiLite systems is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment and deliver within agreed deadlines
  • Demonstrated multi-cultural experience through international work placements.

 

Nice to have:

  • OpCo experience, OpCo network, HEINEKEN experience
  • Experience and understanding of Business Performance Management (BPM) activities
  • Experience in Tool deployment (Project) Management
  • Knowledge of project Management methodology (e.g. P3M, Prince 2)

 

Functional competencies:

  • Understanding of Finance and Accounting processes is a must
  • Process (end-to-end) oriented thinking, combination of analytical and conceptual thinking. Change & Project Management.

 

Leadership competencies:

  • Very strong communication, presentation, analytical and leadership skills, ability to motivate others
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels, addressing and resolving conflicting priorities and ensuring strategic alignment
  • Ability to have both detailed and helicopter view
