Finance Platforms Consultant

Key responsibilities:

• Ensures consistency of the overall solution;

• Works with the Process Specialist to understand, elicit, analyze, document and communicate program and platform/application requirements;

• Manages the quality of the solution and technical debt;

• Identifies potential bottlenecks and their underlying causes that affect the product and proposes how to resolve these;

• Maintains awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and architecture best practices; and evaluate them for applicability;

• Keep up with relevant developments in the Finance area focusing on technical solutions. Is together with team members end-to-end responsible to deliver the value of the Product through the entire Product life cycle;

• Deliver working product enhancements with the allocated timescale and quality standards that minimize rework and aspire a zero defect culture;

• Is responsible for ensuring the overall HEINEKEN standards and best practices are adhered by (i.e. Quality, Compliance);

• Is a tech-savvy team member who develops products with innovative elements;

• Is able to reduce complexity of the work that has to be done.

• Cooperate with business representatives to work out business requirements and acceptance criteria in the form of user stories, assess the complexity of these and translate into implementable solutions and configurations;

• Ensures the product design and implementation adheres to functional requirements and architecture standards;

• Demonstrates product features during sprint reviews to stakeholders.

• Coordinates work of third party engineers and GIS/D&T global solutions teams to secure successful IT solutions delivery.

 

Qualifications:

• Practical experience minimum of 1-2 years of experience in managing / maintenance of Enterprise level Finance platforms / applications

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people;

• Being a business and technical consultant that is responsible for the maintenance and development of the product;

• Analytically and quantitatively strong, highly structured;

• Technical background with experience in one or more IT areas;

• Recognizing the corporate strategy;

• Is a team player and is able to work effectively within the product team with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus;

• Be able to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others.

• Experience in coordinating work between teams with various backgrounds will be seen as a plus

• Ability to work in teams and work dedicated for a team.

• Working with multi-disciplinary teams to craft IT solutions;

• Troubleshooting technology problems;

• Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment, a strong grasp of automation and data management tools;

• Experience is support of ERP and / or other Cloud solutions is a plus
