Accounting & Reporting Manager

Your daily tasks may include:

 

  • implementing the functional strategic plan by setting operational strategy and team's objectives
  • ensuring business partnership with stakeholders in a collaborative way and within agreed governance model to improve stakeholders' experience
  • assessing and mitigating operational risk and acting as an escalation point to drive issue resolution
  • driving E2E improvements agenda including reducing E2E cycle time and reduction of cost of finance
  • building internal control mindset and embedding internal controls into processes so controls are designed and executed effectively and any deficiency is mitigated
  • beeing responsible for team/function's budget planning and proactively controlling actual costs vs. budget including rightsizing of the team compared with business requirement
  • beeing responsible for financial reporting to be done in line with HEINEKEN's Global Finance Policies & Procedures and local legislation
  • ensuring HEINEKEN's Balance Sheet data are fully in line with IFRS for all OpCos in scope
  • working with the Group Reporting team to implement standardisation and best practice policies
  • beeing responsible for the OpCos final OTIF reporting of financials each period end close
  • coordinating external audit for Group and local purposes for all OpCos in scope
  • reviewing and approving balance Sheet write offs including from Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • approving non-PO invoices and customer credit notes and refunds when required
  • facilitating and driving end-to-end process management & improvement
  • recruiting talents for leadership roles and securing their effective onboarding
  • reviewing performance regularly; providing ongoing feedback to teams and individuals addressing under performs and recognizing best people and teams
  • planning succession, developing best people in the pipeline, providing coaching and mentoring.
     

You are a good match if you have:

 

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Accounting Qualification recommended (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • financial accounting expertise
  • 8-10 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
  • at least 5 years in managing people (preferably expert teams)
  • strong stakeholder and communication management skills
  • experience in multi-national environment and Shared Service Organisations 
  • business acumen, analytical skills, decision-making skills, change management skills
  • excellent written and verbal English.
