As a Change, Portfolio & Performance IT Manager, you will lead strategic initiatives to improve organizational performance by managing project portfolios, ensuring value realization, and implementing innovative frameworks. Your role will involve driving best practices in project delivery, managing vendors, and promoting a culture of agility and design thinking.

 

What You'll Be Responsible For:

 

  • PMO/Portfolio Management

    • Oversee the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring alignment of projects with organizational goals.

    • Lead portfolio governance processes, prioritizing initiatives based on strategic value and resource capacity.

    • Track portfolio performance and ensure timely delivery of key initiatives.

 

  • Framework & Methodology

    • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized frameworks and methodologies for project delivery.

    • Ensure consistency and quality across all projects, tailoring approaches to meet varying business needs.

    • Provide training and guidance on best practices to project teams.

 

  • Value Management / Value Realization

    • Define and implement processes to measure the value delivered by transformation initiatives.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects deliver tangible business benefits.

    • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess outcomes and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

 

  • Vendor & Sourcing Management

    • Develop vendor and sourcing strategies to support project delivery.

    • Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance and value for money.

    • Negotiate contracts and oversee vendor performance to meet project and business requirements.

 

  • Project Management

    • Lead high-impact projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

    • Apply both Agile and traditional project management techniques as appropriate.

    • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive project success.

 

  • UX Design

    • Integrate user experience (UX) design principles into project delivery.

    • Collaborate with design teams to ensure solutions meet user needs and enhance overall experience.

    • Advocate for user-centric design approaches in all transformation initiatives.

 

  • Agile Center of Excellence (CoE) / Design Thinking

    • Establish and lead an Agile CoE to embed agile practices and foster continuous learning.

    • Promote the use of design thinking to drive innovation and problem-solving.

    • Act as a coach and mentor for teams adopting agile and design thinking methodologies.

 

This role is for you if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.

  • Several years of experience in transformation management, project/portfolio management, or similar roles.

  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, design thinking, and value management practices.

  • Proven expertise in vendor management and project delivery within complex environments.

  • An understanding of UX design and its application in project execution.

  • A strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • The ability to drive change and cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
